25-羟基维生素D3在饲料和饮水中使用需遵循以下：

(1)在蛋鸡、种鸡饲料中使用不能超过69ppb，饮水中不能超过34.5ppb。

(2)在火鸡饲料中使用不能超过92ppb，在饮水中使用，对于0~3周龄火鸡不能超过25ppb，4~11周龄火鸡不能超过36ppb，11周龄以上火鸡不能超过45ppb。

(a)TheadditiveisusedorintedforuseasasourceofvitaminD3activityinanimalfeedordrinkingwaterinaccordancewithgoodmanufacturingandfeedingpracticesasfollows:

(1)Infeedordrinkingwateroflayerandbreederchickensnottoexceed69partsperbillion(ppb)

(2)Infeedordrinkingwaterofturkeysnottoexceed:

(i)92ppbinfeed;or

(ii)Indrinkingwater,25ppbforturkeysupto3weeksofage,36ppbforturkeysfrom4to11weeksofage,or45ppbforturkeysover11weeksofage.

(b)Theadditiveconsistsofnotlessthan94percent25-hydroxyvitaminD3(9,10-secocholesta-5,7,10(19)-triene-3b,25-diol).

(c)Theadditivemeetsthefollowingspecifications:

(1)Notmorethan1percentofanyindividualsterol.

(2)Notmorethan5percentwater.

(3)Notmorethan20partspermillion(ppm)lead.

(4)Notmorethan20ppmaluminum.

(5)′,4′,5′,7′tetraiodofluorescin.

(6)Notmorethan1ppb1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol.

(d)Toassuresafeuseoftheadditive,inadditiontotheotherinformationrequiredbytheFederalFood,Drug,andCosmeticAct,thelabelandlabelingshallcontain:

(1)Thenameoftheadditive.

(2)Astatementtoindicatethem

(3)Astatementtoindicateforturkeysthemaximumuselevelof25-hydroxyvitaminD3mustnotexceed92ppbinfeed;orindrinkingwater,25ppbforturkeysupto3weeksofage,36ppbforturkeysfrom4to11weeksofage,or45ppbforturkeysover11weeksofage.

(4)Adequateusedirectionstoensurethat25-hydroxyvitaminD3(andallpremixes)isuniformlybledthroughoutthefeedordrinkingwater.

(5)Anexpirationdateonallpremixlabeling.

(6)Astatementonallpremixlabeling(feedanddrinkingwaterforms)that25-hydroxyvitaminD3cannotbeusedsimultaneouslyinbothfeedandwater.
